I wanted so badly to see him finally break through with a big hit and restore some credibility and then cringed after the inevitable "K". But you gotta admit Tex is starting to play alot better. I truly think that if Frenchy was playing like he did last year, we would be in first place. They have such a talented line-up but I'm starting to wonder if Frenchy has a lingering injury. I've sat in the right field stands at Turner for about 10 games this year and have watched him half-hustle for several base hits that could've been catches. And it dosn't help that Tex wants the huge contract for next year - he probably is thinking about which New York ballpark he'll play in. I say they try and find another outfield catalyst before the trade deadline (Xavier Nady, Adam Dunn, or the Kid) who knows? Maybe it'd turn the tides on the season.
